And that’s why I went on holiday for the past couple weeks. Surprise!
And no, it wasn’t spontaneous (though I love a good spontaneous wedding story!). We’ve been planning this for a few months now and kept it fairly hush-hush since it’s more fun that way. My husband (!) and I were married on 8 September at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino with our parents, siblings, and my best friend who was able to fly out for a few days to celebrate. It was intimate and beautiful and easily the best day of our lives. And because we love Vegas, we stayed at the Bellagio for 10 days with a fantastic view of the amazing fountains and stunning Nevada mountains. Our families stayed as well which was wonderful since we’re from different countries (the UK and Canada) and our families don’t normally get to spend very much time together.
It was so much fun and I wanted to share it with all of you! We’re living in Canada for a few months while we get the pesky visa situation sorted, so I’ll be on Canada-time for a little bit! 🙂
And now, back to our regularly scheduled bookish programming! x
